7/7 bombings: Sadiq Khan vows to do ‘everything possible’ to root out extremism

Ceremonies today mark the 11th anniversary of the suicide bombings on the London Tubes and a rush-hour bus. The terrorists left 52 people dead, approximately 700 injured and hundreds changed forever write Pippa Crerar and Barney Davis in the Evening Standard.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan attended a memorial service in Hyde Park and promised Londoners that he will do “everything possible” to protect against another terrorist attack.
