Linda and Joe Zadroga, parents of Detective Joseph Zadroga, the NYPD detective for whom the Zadroga Act t is named, spoke to PIX11‘s Marvin Scott about Congress’s callous refusal to extend the Zadroga Act on November 6, 2015.The Zadroga Act extends health benefits to those World Trade Center rescue and recovery workers and survivors of the terrorist attacks who are sick from their exposures to dust and debris. Congress let the Act expire on September 30, 2015, leaving thousands of sick and dying people adrift.
