WTC Performing Arts Center Names Brooklyn Architecture Firm REX as Designer

Officials for the long-delayed World Trade Center Performing Arts Center have chosen a new architect, have a funding plan, and say the center is scheduled to open in 2019. Irene Plagianos writes in DNA Info on November 20, 2015.

REX, a Brooklyn design firm, will be the architect. The new plans call for an 80,000 square-foot theatre at a cost of approximately half the original estimate of $400 million.
