The Port Authority’s program director, Glen Guzi, announced at the Community Board 1 meeting that the World Trade Center’s massive transportation hub will open early in the second quarter of 2016 writes Irene Plagianos in DNA Info on January 13, 2016.
The hub will connect subway stations and the PATH train with all the buildings of the World Trade Center. The marble corridors will be lined with many shops. The central “Oculus” is also designed to host public events such as concerts.
