Police are searching for the vandals who damaged a memorial mosaic at Rockaway 9/11 Tribute Park recently, reports Bill Parry for Queens.com.
Anyone with information about the vandals should call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
In the past, the mosaic has been storm-damaged. Park officials and Friends of Tribute Park are looking for more durable materials to use to repair the mosaic.
