U.S. House passes legislation to support continued development of the 9/11 National Memorial Trail

On July 30, 2021, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed legislation supporting the development of the September 11th National Memorial Trail, which is being built to link New York City, Arlington Virginia, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the three sites impacted by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The trail is currently being built, with its most recent section open in Somerset County, PA, linking the Flight 93 National Memorial to the trail, reports Mary Ann Thomas for the Tribune-Review.
