In an attempt to make airport security lines move faster and to make them less stressful for passengers, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will use more dogs with floppy ears than pointed ears for explosives searches. Past experience has shown officers that passengers find dogs with pointed ears, such as German shepherds, intimidating, reports Hugo Martin for the Los Angeles Times.
