Lorraine Shanley, volunteer treasurer for Survivors of the Shield, a charity for families of NYPD officers killed in the line of duty, has been arrested for stealing $400,000 from the group.
She faces 30 years in prison if convicted.
Shanley worked for the charity from 2010 to 2017, and took in more than $1.9 million in donations the vast majority of which were from NYPD personnel, reports WABC.
