The FDA has approved a generic albuterol “rescue” inhaler for asthmatics.

Currently, a ProAir HFA Inhalation Aerosol inhaler, the current model available can cost up to $500.

It isn’t known when the generic version will be available or how much cheaper it will be, but it could retail for about $100, reports A. Pawlowski for Today.
