That smell at the top of One World Trade? It’s on purpose

The observatory atop One World Trade Center has begun to diffuse its new “official” fragrance through its air vents. The scent, called “One World,” has been developed to enhance visitors’ experience of the site.

A variety of businesses, galleries, and museums are experimenting with scent, reports James Barron for the New York Times.
