Talks begin for memorial in Holyoke to 9/11 victims

Holyoke, Massachusetts’ City Council and the Holyoke Soldiers’ Memorial Commission are planning a monument to those killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 reports Mike Plaisance in MassLive.com. The meeting discussed possible locations for such a memorial.

The nearby town of Westfield has a 9/11 Monument honoring three local residents who were killed at the World Trade Center, Tara Kathleen Shea Creamer, Brian Joseph Murphy, and Daniel Patrick Trant.  Ms. Creamer was aboard American Flight 11, the plane hijackers flew into the North Tower while Mr. Murphy and Mr. Trant were working in the Towers that day.
