Surprise gift supports late Macon County firefighter’s family

The widow and five children of Darrell Plank, a Macon County firefighter killed on the job last month, received a check for $5,000 from the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, reported Laura Corley in the Macon Telegraph.

FDNY FF Stephen Siller was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, also leaving a widow and five children.
