Snellville [GA] Eagle Scout’s 9/11 memorial draws praise from officials, survivor

A new memorial to those killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 has been built in Snellville, Georgia. One of its first visitors was a survivor from Tower 2 of the World Trade Center, writes Cailin O’Brien in the Gwinnett Daily Post.

The memorial is a piece of twisted steel and aluminum from the World Trade Center. The metal was part of the last pallet of metal from the World Trade Center available for memorials.
