After fruitlessly searching for an anchor tenant for 2 World Trade Center, Larry Silverstein recently told Eddie Small of The Real Deal that he might consider building the 88-story building without one.
2WTC is the final piece of the World Trade Center complex.
Silverstein leased the complex six weeks before the terrorist attacks of 9/11 destroyed it.
Silverstein said, “We couldn’t let the terrorists succeed. And by putting the buildings back, we would defeat them.”
