In an article published on November 22, 2015 in the New York Times, John Otis tells of ironworker Susan Bentley, who is sick and in financial difficulty from her work at the recovery after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. After three months of recovery work, she retired due to failing health in 2003.
