Ray Pfeifer, who is battling stage-4 World Trade Center-related cancer fought for the renewal of Zadroga Act, travelling to Washington DC in a wheelchair. The Zadroga Act ensures health care for those survivors and rescue and recovery workers who are now sick from their time at the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks of 2001.
Ray Pfeifer is now under hospice care.
Pfeifer has always wanted to visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. He was able to do just that on March 10, 2017, reports FiOS1 News
“This is one of the things I always wanted to do. I always wanted to come down to Arlington pay tribute to the veterans,” Pfeifer said.
