Shanksville, PA 9/11 Fire Chief’s family asks for help

Terry Shaffer, who was Shanksville’s Fire Chief at the time of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, is in need of a heart transplant.

Shaffer, 66, has been in declining health for some time and now has advanced heart failure.

His friends and family have started a fundraiser to help, reports Firehouse Magazine.
