A woman who fundraised for Green Bay’s 9/11 memorial has claimed that the memorial contains human remains. A search is now underway to investigate whether the claim is true, reports Ben Krumholz for WLUK FOX 11 News
The memorial has been partially demolished after cracks and damage have appeared, obliterating many of the names. Incorrect information on the memorial will also be removed.
After initially voting for the removal of the memorial, the Green Bay city council has voted to discuss other possibilities. Until a decision is made, the memorial will stand as it currently is.
