Sea Service members reenlisted during a joint ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial

Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Amanda Dunford writes in Navy News Service about a number of Sailors and Marines who were promoted or who reenlisted during a joint ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial in New York City during New York City’s Fleet Week on May 27, 2016.

‘”Today was really special for me because I joined September 19, 2001, eight days after 9/11, so this was where it all started for my career,” said Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Jemiko Price, Fleet Surgical Team Six. “My husband is also active duty, and having him and our son here is very meaningful.” ‘
