Family and friends filled St. Aloysius Church in Jackson Township, N.J., Saturday to say goodbye to one of New York’s Bravest heroes.

Retired FDNY Lt. Howard (Howie) Bischoff was laid to rest. Bischoff, 58, was one of three firefighters to die Monday from cancers related to their efforts trying to recover remains at Ground Zero.
