Rescue and recovery workers will get permanent dedication at 9/11 Memorial

The National September 11 Memorial & Museum has announced that they will build a tribute to the workers of the recovery operation, reports CBS New York. Many rescue and recovery workers have contracted serious illnesses and hundreds have died of site-related cancers and other diseases.

The acknowledgement to the recovery effort will be located on the 8-acre Memorial Plaza.
