Jurors are being chosen for the upcoming trial of a man accused of killing eight people in a 2018 terrorist attack with a truck on a Lower Manhattan bike path, reports Larry Neumeister for the Associated Press.
The accused did not appear during the process.
After mowing down the cyclists, he allegedly left the truck, shouting, “Allahu Akbar.”
It is not known if the death penalty will be sought by the prosecution.
