Plaque dedicated to FDNY & OFD 9/11 Firefighter Kenneth “Kenny” Marino

On June 10, 2017,  a ceremony and plaque dedication was held by the Mombasha Fire Company in Monroe. NY to honor Kenneth “Kenny” Marino, who was killed at the age of 40 at the World Trade Center while responding to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

His parents, who are involved with the Oceanside Fire Department, attended the dedication. Kenny’s widow, Katrina and FDNY Deputy Chief Jay Jonas, who was an FDNY captain on September 11, were among the speakers reports the Long Island Herald’s Danny LaRose.
