Phoenix Open unveils 9/11 20th anniversary tent spike forged in Mesa

The Phoenix Open golf tournament, currently in Phoenix, has a 9/11 connection — its main tent is anchored by an ornate steel spike forged from World Trade Center steel.

Blacksmiths Avi Goodman  (Iron Rhino) and Jacie Cotterell (Red Front Forge) made the spike to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, reports Athena Ankrah of KJZZ Fronteras.
