Winners of the Patriot Award 2013
The 11th annual Patriot Award dinner was held on Monday, June 24 at the Woodbury Country Club.
Five Seaford High School graduating seniors were presented with Patriot Awards. They were Peter Adorno, Emma Bausert, Courtney Carbone, Anthony George, and Kylie Zubel. Honorary Patriot Awards were presented to Ken Jacobsen, John Theissen, and Carla and the late William Powell.
Patriot Awards, presented since 2002 by the Seaford High School 9/11 Memorial Committee, given to those who exemplify the lives of five Seaford High School alumni lost on September 11, 2001. They are: Tommy Haskell (FDNY), Timmy Haskell (FDNY), John Perry (NYPD), Rob Sliwak (Cantor Fitzgerald), and Michael Wittenstein (Cantor Fitzgerald).
