Terence Connelly of Babylon, NY was an NYPD officer on September 11, 2001. He responded to the World Trade Center terrorist attacks, was there when the towers fell, and has been diagnosed with incurable glioblastoma as a result of his work there.
He has a wife of 17 years and three small children, reports Priscila Korb for Babylon Patch. His wife is on leave from her job to care for him and the children.
The Connellys are well-loved in Babylon and the community is raising money to help the family cope with the loss of income and the cost of medical bills.
