NIRI-New York Chapter Seeks Corporate Partners for NIRI-NY 9/11 Logler Memorial Internship Program

The New York Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI-NY) announced today that it is seeking partners in the tri-state New York area who can offer internships in investor relations, public relations or corporate communications in the summer of 2015.

NIRI-NY is the sponsor of the NIRI-NY 9/11 Logler Memorial Internship Program, which provides meaningful summer internship opportunities to relatives of victims of the 9/11 attacks. The program is dedicated in memory of chapter member Elizabeth (Beth) Logler, Vice President-Investor Relations of eSpeed, who lost her life in the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

Since dedicating the program, NIRI-NY has successfully placed interns with a number of leading companies in the greater New York City area, including Acorda Therapeutics, Acquire Media, Altria, BGC Partners, Burson-Marsteller, Capital Bridge, Catalyst Global, Delphi Financial, EDGAR Online, Hain Celestial, Henry Schein, theIRapp, PepsiCo, and Veeco Instruments.
