NFL player Micah Parsons apologizes for ‘9-11’ post: ‘People are sick’

Football player Micah Parsons has apologized for making a social media post that seemed to mock the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Rookie Parsons wears number 11 for the Dallas Cowboys. His teammate Jaylon Smith changed his number to 9 recently. Parsons reposted an Instagram post that read “9-11 thats [sic] so scary”.

Parsons wrote on Twitter, “I would never disrespect my country in any [way!] I was supporting my teammate and jersey numbers! The vet and the rookie! If you took any offense I apologize to all and to all those involved,” reports Ryan Dunleavy for the New York Post.
