The New York State Police held its 45th annual Memorial and Awards Ceremonies on May 6, 2021. Three of the four deceased members honored in the ceremony — Sergeant and Station Commander Jeffrey M. Cicora, Trooper Jennifer M. Czarnecki, and Investigator Ryan Fortini — died of World Trade Center-related illnesses, reports Isabella Colello for WWTI.
