New Port Washington 9/11 Memorial honors fallen heroes

A new 9/11 memorial honoring Port Washington residents who were killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 was unveiled this weekend at Manorhaven Village Hall, reported Paige McAtee in the Port Washington Patch.

The Port Washington residents who were killed in the attacks were David Scott Agnes; Neil James Cudmore; Timothy Colin Kelly; Justin John McCarthy; PO Antonio José Rodrigues of the Port Authority PD; Bart Joseph Ruggiere; Keiichiro Takahashi and Dinah Webster.

Rodrigues’ widow and children attended the unveiling.
