N.J. company W & E Baum to replace plaques stolen from September 11 memorial for free

W & E Baum of Freehold, NJ is donating three new bronze plaques to replace those that were recently stolen from Monmouth County’s September 11th Memorial.  The plaques are being made now.

The stolen plaques, three of the four at the memorial, were pried off stones by thieves at the end of last month reports Jenna Wise for NJ Advance Media.

The new plaques should be ready in 6 to 10 weeks.

Monmouth County’s Friends of the Parks group funds the memorial’s preservation.

Monmouth County Crime Stoppers is offering rewards for information leading to the arrest of the thieves. If you know anything, you may call 732-291-1212 or at 1-800-671-4400, text “MONMOUTH” and your tip to 27463, or email www.monmouthcountycrimestoppers.com.
