Monument planned to honor University of Albany alums slain in 9/11 attacks

The University at Albany’s Class of 2017 and the UAlbany Fund are fundraising to build a permanent campus memorial in honor of the 19 alumni killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, reports Mac Bullock in the Albany Student Press.

Approximately $7,500 has been raised thus far.

Students can contribute to the building of the memorial by contacting the UAlbany fund at uafund@albany.edu, or here.
