Meet 3 men sickened by 9/11: They will get 50% less from the near-broke Victims Compensation Fund

While more people every day are becoming ill from their exposure to the toxins at the World Trade Center, the funding is dwindling. Because of this the Victim Compensation Fund will cut payment for pending claims to 50%. Any future claims will be cut by up to 70%.

Nancy Cutler of the Rockland/Westchester Journal News spoke to three people who will receive the diminished funding,  NYPD ESU Lt. John McArdle, who has had cancer 4 times and is currently battling stage IV prostate cancer; postal inspector Robert Mignogna; and Fire Marshal John Coyle.
