Students and faculty from Mayville State University are raising money to buy backpacks for children in Nepal in honor of a  the dream of Ann Nicole Nelson, a woman from North Dakota who was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Nelson, 30, was a bond broker at Cantor Fitzgerald atop the World Trade Center who left a list of dreams and goals behind. Her parents found the list and many of the items have been made real. One of the wishes listed simply said “Nepal, ” writes Anna Burleson in the Grand Forks Herald.
