Legislators in Maine are considering making September 11th a state-wide holiday.
The holiday was proposed by residents of the state and lawmakers are considering if they think it is the best way to honor the states’s law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel, reports Mal Leary for MainePublic.org.
