A display of banners depicting memorials to the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11th from around the country can be seen at Logan Airport in Boston to mark the fifteenth anniversary of the attacks.
The banners hang in Terminal E and feature the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia; the Flight 93 National Memorial in Stoystown, Pennsylvania; New York City’s National September 11 Memorial; Logan Airport’s 9/11 Memorial; and memorials from Staten Island and New Jersey.
The exhibit is in a pre-security area, so that all visitors to the airport can pay their respects, reports Daniel Guzman for Morning Edition at WBUR.
