Local teachers honored by 9/11 Tribute Center for efforts to teach about September 11th attacks

The 9/11 Tribute Center’s annual teacher awards this year honored two local teachers, Stephanie Shamah of Magen David Yeshivah Celia Esses High School in Brooklyn and Carissa Agron of Archimedes Academy in the Bronx, for their projects to teach their students about the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, reported Gene Apodaca of NY1.
