Leak sends water cascading down stairwells, stops elevators at World Trade Center

An air conditioning condenser line sprung a leak at 1 World Trade Center, pouring water down an 88th floor stairwell, trapping three passengers in two of the building’s elevators, and causing jitters among building workers, reports Andrew Siff for Channel 4 News.

The leak has been repaired.
