Kids of late FDNY Deputy Chief spend weekend with the Mets

Michael, 12, Anna, 9, and Cormache, 6, the children of FDNY Deputy Chief Michael Fahy who was killed in the line of duty last year, spent a weekend at the Mets’ training camp in Florida, reports Corinne Gaston of News 4 NYC.

The kids did warm-up exercises with the team, had dinner with players and watched a game from the dugout.

Michael J. Fahy, 44, a 19-year veteran of the FDNY who responded to the terrorist attacks of 2001, was killed in an explosion at a suspected drug factory in September 2016.
