Jeffrey Amato Sr., Mamaroneck construction worker, dies of 9/11-related cancer

Jeffrey Amato Sr. has died of World Trade Center-related esophageal cancer at the age of 51, reports Matt Spillane in LoHud.com.

A construction worker with Petmar Builders during the recovery efforts at the site after the terrorist attacks, Amato died on October 13, 2017.

His funeral procession on Saturday was joined by many motorcyclists, even a motorcycle hearse.

He left a large family and many friends.
