It’s Official: WTC Oculus Will Open the First Week in March

On January 19, 2016, Port Authority nnounced that the World Trade Center Transportation Hub—and its showpiece, Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava’s Oculus, will open the first week in March, writes Amy Plitt in Curbed.

The various subway and PATH stations will be linked by underground passageways, which will all link to the mall beneath the Oculus. The subway lines are scheduled to open “in phases” throughout the year, according to the Port Authority.
