Robin Lamprecht died earlier this year at the age of 79. A survivor of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, he was at his Aon office on the 103rd floor of Tower Two, the South Tower, that day.
He remained haunted for many years by his friends and 175 colleagues who were killed in the attacks, and by faces of cops and firefighters who helped him, but found peace in later years, reports Jack Knox for the Times Colonist.
Mr. Lamprecht retired and moved to Canada in 2005.
