ISIS Paris attacks: First large-scale study of traumatic memories to be launched in France

A French study by historians, neuroscientists and psychologists will attempt to understand traumatic memories by examining the memories of survivors, and witnesses of the Paris terrorist attacks of November 13, 205, writes Léa Surugue in the International Business Times.

The study will investigate how long-term well-being can be affected by trauma and how memories evolve over time.

Participants are being recruited among survivors and their families, residents of the area and other French people.
