Urban Search and Rescue New York Task Force 1 (NY TF-1), a team of NYPD and FDNY members, has been deployed to assist those areas affected by Hurricane Dorian, reports Erik Bascome for the Staten Island Advance. The FDNY’s Incident Management Team, a group that works on long-term recovery from disaster, is also on the way to Florida.
