The upcoming 10-part miniseries The Looming Tower depicts the events leading up to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, reports Bill Keveney in USA Today.
Based on real events, The Looming Tower tells the story of FBI supervisor John O’Neill and CIA officer Martin Schmidt and their investigation into terrorist activities from 1998 until the attacks. Lawrence Wright’s book of the same title, which won the Pulitzer Prize, is the basis for the series.
The miniseries will air beginning February 28, 2018.
