Half Hollow Hills receives $6K donation from Tom Collins/Chris Panatier 9/11 Memorial Foundation

The Half Hollow Hills Central School District in Long Island has received a donation of $6,000 from the Tom Collins/Chris Panatier 9/11 Memorial Foundation, a charity that honors two men murdered in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The foundation has donated to the school district for 14 years now. Donations total $100,000, reports Long Island News & PR.

The donation will be used to support residents and employees of the district in times of crisis.

Tom Collins and Chris Panatier both graduated from Half Hollow Hills High School East as members of the class of 1983. The foundation in their honor was founded by their friends to support the community that fostered their friendships.
