How virtual reality affects actual reality – VR technology helps quarterbacks learn plays, first responders recover from PTSD

Jeremy Bailenson, from Stanford University’s Virtual Human Interactive Lab, has written a new book, VR: Experience on Demand, discussing uses for virtual reality technology that may help PTSD sufferers. One of the stories in the book concerns a firefighter who helped his 9/11-related PTSD via the use of VR technology.
