House to vote on 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund bill

The House of Representatives will vote on Friday on whether to renew the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund.

In recent weeks, members of the House has heard from impassioned recovery workers sick from their time in the ruins of the World Trade Center, including retired NYPD Detective Luis Alvarez who died shortly after testifying, reports Grace Segers for CBS News.

Passage of the bill is expected in the House. The Senate vote, to be held in August, is less certain.
