Gym Raises Money for Burn Center in Honor of SI Firefighter Who Died on 9/11

By Aaron Dickens NY1

Victoria Giordano of Tottenville has always been a huge fan of fitness. She says she takes after her father. And Giordano was right there with him until his life was cut short.

Jeff Giordano was a firefighter at Ladder 3. He died on 9/11. Giordano’s family held a 5-K race every year in his memory. They raised thousands of dollars for the New York Firefighters’ Burn Center Foundation, which funds research and education at New York Presbyterian’s burn center.

Now, a gym, Outerbridge Crossfit, is honoring his memory. Aaron Dickens filed a report. To see the video, please click here.
