Grand opening of ‘JumpShotz’ hoops gym brings hope to youth sports, small businesses on S.I.’s South Shore

“JumpShotz,” a new youth basketball center, has opened in Staten Island with the help of the Joseph Maffeo Foundation.

“We couldn’t be more proud to give back to the youth and community,” Keith and Linda Manfredi told Nick Regina of the Staten Island Advance. The Manfredis founded the Joseph Maffeo Foundation to honor Linda’s brother, FDNY FF Joseph Maffeo, who was killed responding to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
